A look at my EC horizontal this week!

So as you can tell, I went with a Spongebob theme this week!  I bought the graphics and clip art on Etsy and make my own stickers for my planner out of them!  I love the way it all came together, the color scheme makes me happy!

On my monthly view, these are also all stickers I made myself, in Silhouette Studio. I tried to stick with the blue/grey theme that is already there, but I needed a little more color, so I jazzed it up just little with some yellow.

I know my stickers aren’t perfectly aligned, nor are they perfectly cut, but I am getting a silhouette cameo in the coming weeks, so that will change.

I use this planner mainly for school and little reminders of things that are very important to do.  I have an EC vertical planner as well and it is more of my everyday to do home binder.  Once I get that system a little more streamlined I will post its layouts as well!

Well Hello!

I just wanted to take a minute and write myself a little note as to why I started this blog.  This way, in the future, when things get busy at home I can look back and remember why I started.  I guess this might help you all understand why I started ‘alliesplannerhood’ as well!

I am a young mom, twenty-something, with three young boys.  I also help my husband run a home repair business, all while attending college for my M.S. in Psychology.  Needless to say, my days are crunched, “me” time is rare and I seem to never have enough hours in the day.  However, about 6 months ago I purchased an Erin Condren Life Planner…MY LIFE CHANGED!!!!  Suddenly I was getting everything done, usually ahead of schedule and I had a significant decrease in headaches!  I also stumbled upon the planner community on YouTube.  It was mind-blowing the way these girls decorated their planners so gorgeously and I wanted to be a part of it!  So I placed several larger than necessary orders from Amazon, Michaels, Joann and Etsy, and began my planner journey.  Ya’ll I have found a hobby I am in love with!  I mean yeah, I have an addiction to makeup as well, but this is like a release for me.  When I’m stressed, I plan.  When I’m bored, I plan.  I have even started making my own stickers for my planner.  Soon I will be buying a Silhouette and may even open an Etsy store…the jury is still out on that but you never know with me!

So anyways, I hope that through this platform, I can share some of my favorites, my own designs and views of my planner.  Hopefully we can all inspire one another and learn from each other!  Can’t wait to see where this journey goes!!!
